Publish What You Pay – US (PWYP-US) is the US chapter of a global coalition calling for a more transparent and accountable extractives sector so that oil, gas and mining revenues improve the lives of people in resource-rich countries. PWYP-US advocates for transparency initiatives that shine a light on the financial flows between companies and governments so that citizens have the information they need to hold their governments accountable.

PWYP-US has 40 NGO members and is governed by a steering committee led by Global Witness, ONE, Oxfam America, and PWYP-International. PWYP-US is a project of the Fund for Constitutional Government. The global PWYP network spans 41 countries, primarily in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Policy Advisor will lead on policy analysis and research, support the coalition’s advocacy activities, engage in social media and press outreach, and provide coalition management and administrative support.
